On mac OS, clearing the TrueControl app can be more involved than on iOS. If you're having trouble opening your system interface on your Mac's Savant TrueControl app, then try the following steps. If all of the initial steps fail, the next section describes how to really clear all of the data in the app.
- Click on the Savant TrueControl icon in your mac's dock.
- If no window opens, go to the menu bar at the top, and click on System Browser, then Show System Browser
- Your system should be listed here under the browse tab if you're on the same wifi as the system.
- Double click on the system, select the user and login with the correct password if prompted.
- If no window still opens, follow these steps to clear all data in the app:
- Open the app Finder on your mac
- On the top menubar, select the menu item Go
- When the dropdown menu opens, hold the Option key on your mac's keyboard
- An item named "Library" will appear in the menu while you hold the Option key on your keyboard. Select Library.
- A Finder window opens the Library folder. Scroll down and double click on the folder Container
- Find the folder named 'com.savantav.truecontrol' and double click on it
- Double click through the following additional folders: Data, Documents, then Savant
- Delete all files in this folder, including the SystemData folder.
- Quit, and open the Savant TrueControl app again
- Select the system that shows in the Browser tab
- Select the user and login to your system
- Let it download and install the system
- Your system interface should be visible now
